Founded by artist and designer Charlie, the brand is a celebration of bold materials, imaginative composition, and deeply personal craftsmanship. Each necklace, bracelet, flower bomb or cape is inspired by a moment—perhaps a vivid stone, a curious object, a textured fabric, or a rich colour palette—and brought to life with intention and soul.
“I work by contrasting colour and texture. I work with bold stones, flowers, feathers and metal. These are my tools and the challenge of creating something new and unique from them every time is what gives me the greatest enjoyment. That and the knowledge that many people who have bought a piece consider it a personal object, not a piece of passing fashion.”
A Life of Inspiration
Charlie's creative path has always followed her curiosity. After schooling, she lived in Rome, where she explored her love of antiquities and ancient coins. Back in Australia, she studied journalism and worked in interior design, eventually following her heart to study Fine Arts (Sculpture) at RMIT and complete formal training in silversmithing.
Her transition into jewellery design was a natural evolution, blending storytelling, material exploration, and a sculptor’s eye. What began as commission-only work gradually grew into something bigger—shared through select boutiques and now through her own beautiful store.

Located in the heart of Geelong, the Cecil and Gunn store is an extension of Charlie’s artistic vision. Alongside her original handmade pieces, you’ll find a thoughtfully curated collection of brands that share a similar spirit of individuality and craftsmanship.
